Hannington-Gilbert & Co Ltd was founded in 1965, the company moved to its present premises in 1972. Between 1972 & 1999 it was a partnership of Mr Clive Gilbert and Mr Alan Watson, since Mr Watson's retirement Mr Gilbert has been the only Director with Mr Keith Wells as Contracts Manager. Offices, stores and workshops cater for the busy electrical contracting business.

The high standard of electrical contracting is ensured by membership of the Electrical Contractors Association and National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting. Which offers genuine and reliable consumer protection. All the electricians employed are trained to the latest wiring regulations. A further two apprentices are being trained at the present time, under the latest training scheme ensuring continued company growth.

A wide range of electrical work is under-taken: domestic installations and rewires, factory and commercial installation, security lighting, door entry systems, and maintenance of electrical installations for Housing Associations.
We have been pleased to carry out work in recent years for Beauport Park Hotel, Hastings Borough Council, 1066 Housing Association, Kelsey Housing Association, and many private customers.
