Recent special projects undertaken
by Hannington-Gilbert & Co include the 'Robertson street triangle' (Floodlighting
of Holy Trinity church, United Reform Church, Hastings Libary and the America
Ground memorial); The 'Winds of change' lighting columns, a group of seven
special lighting columns designed to change colour with changes in the wind;
'Inground lumineres', a floodlighting system for the Hastings fishermans
net huts sunk into the ground.

Of Change
A group of 11 light fittings, up-lighting onto a circle of coloured transparencies
that rotate as the wind changes direction. There is also additional lighting
in the column.

Aimed to light a series of key landmarks in the Robertson Street Area of
Hastings.

Seafront Lighting
New lighting mounted on each lamppost along Hastings seafront, each with
a different colour to slowly change as they move along the seafront. Known
locally as ‘sticks of rock’, because of the colour and their
effect.
Stone Cross Parish
Church
A new building extension to, using up-lighting for sports
activities in the main area, and down-lighters for other activities.
St. Peters Church, Bexhill
Refurbishment
of the electrical installation after electrical survey, and floodlighting
to the church
St. Richards Church, Winchelsea Beach
New heating and sockets, refurbishment of main switch gear
