Sussex Barn Conversion

We were asked by one of our long term clients to participate
in a project at their property just outside Tunbridge Wells.

Set in the depths of the beautiful East Sussex countryside
this 15th century oak framed building was to be transformed
from a dilapidated barn into a beautiful holiday home.

The brief included installation of power and lighting throughout,
including LED downlights in bedrooms and bathrooms,
LED uplights to create a feature of the original oak beam ceiling
and low level LED path lighting outside.
We installed the David Robbins electrical controls to a wet
multizone underfloor heating system installed by the
plumber including wifi ready Heatmiser thermostats to each zone.
This was all to be connected back to a new consumer unit
connected to a new supply provided by UK power networks.

We also installed points for satellite and terrestrial TV,
including arrangements for an antenna and a CAT5e network
to RJ45 data points throughout.

We later carried out electrical work to an extension of the
main farmhouse, a supply for an electric car charger
and the supply and installation of a backup generator.
